A 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization
Who We are:

Wings of Hope - NJ is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization established in 2000.  We originally started in Central New Jersey, but have now expanded to the Coastal North Carolina area as well.  Wings of Hope-NJ prides itself on finding loving, experienced adoptive homes for unwanted, abused, neglected, and abandoned avian exotics.

We believe that all animals deserve the highest quality care, love, and respect, and that owners should have access to the most current bird information possible. Unwanted exotics are accepted at Wings of Hope-NJ, and in turn are adopted out to qualified applicants.

Waiting For A New Forever Home

We are bursting at the seams with all types of birds! We have a variety of birds ready and patiently waiting for their loving, longtime homes.
From August 19th through August 31st, we are offering adoptions of Finches, Parakeets and Cockatiels at no fee.  You will however, be required to pay the adoption application fee of $10.00.

Check out our birds that are waiting to meet you, by clicking here. Some are hand-tame and some are not, but regardless these  parrots are a joy to come home to. Parakeets are usually very animated, quite intelligent, and love being around their family. These parrots often pack a lot of fun and energy into a small body. Read some more about some people's experiences with keets.

Our birds are disease tested and come with a cage, toys, and a small supply of food so that your bird can eat the same food that he or she did in their foster home. This helps to smooth your bird's transition into their new home.
